Unity: A new vision for Sheffield & Yorkshire's Car Culture

As Lowdown comes to a close due to safety concerns, a new era begins — Unity, a fresh and community-driven car meet designed to bring enthusiasts, families, and the wider yorkshire community together in a safe and exciting environment.

Hosted at Meadowhall Retail Park on the first Monday of every month, Unity isn’t just about showcasing stunning cars — it’s about rebuilding trust, celebrating local passion, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome in a positive environment.

We've listened Safety is our priority — with clear guidelines, marshalled areas, and a collaborative effort between organisers & attendees, Unity aims to eliminate the problems that brought Lowdown to a halt. We’re committed to ensuring the event is both enjoyable and secure for all. Burnouts, anti-social driving, and racing are strictly banned and will not be tolerated, This is a static only event, Save the ASBO stuff for Mexico elsewhere. This will be enforced by our team, Our core focus is to create a safe, Respectful & welcoming space where families, Car lovers & the wider community can enjoy our culture without risk. Lowdown closed because the line between enthusiasm and Mexico was crossed too many times.

Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a parent with curious kids, or just looking for a great local evening out, Unity is here to bring people together — through horsepower, heart, and community spirit. UNITY is here to draw a clear line, and enforce it. This is about protecting what we all love — the cars, the people, the atmosphere — and making sure it can be enjoyed every month without fear or problems.

Join us in building something better with Unity!
